Rowton Hall is different to other wedding venues in Cheshire. Not only can you hire the country house hotel exclusively for your big day, but every function room has been licensed. This means you can tailor your big day, just the way you want it. From my point of view as a videographer, this is a great place to film. There’s plenty of space inside, to I can work unobtrusively while the guests relax, and the walled gardens are perfect for a wedding. Here’s Katy and Greg’s Highlights video, which shows off this fab venue rather nicely:
Bride and Groom Getting Ready
Rowton Hall has several spacious and beautifully appointed suites that you can use for getting ready, on the morning of the wedding. It makes the whole process much easier, more relaxing, and fun. Both Katy and Greg prepared for their big day in separate (of course) suites, so I was able to capture some great footage of both of them and their respective bridesmaids and ushers getting ready.
Getting Married in the Ballroom
I love historic buildings. I think there’s really something quite special about seeing a couple making their vows in a setting like the Ballroom at Rowton Hall. It dates back to the 18th century, just think of all the things that have happened over those years.
Cheshire Wedding Videographer
When I’m filming a wedding I generally like to have at least 2 cameras running. Usually I have my main camera at the front and to the right hand side, that’s the best view during the vows. My second camera us usually situated at the back of the aisle. This position captures a great shot of the groom as he first sees his bride. Greg’s face was a picture when he first saw how lovely Katy looked as she began to walk down the aisle towards him:
Wedding Reception at Rowton Hall
The afternoon and evening reception were idillic, with plenty of seating in the garden for the guests to relax. Later on, back to the Ballroom for Katy and Greg’s first dance. Followed by plenty of dancing and fun for all.
