Since beginning as a Wedding Videographer in Cheshire back in 2007, we’ve learnt a lot about weddings. We’ve come across many of the questions and worries that you might have about planning your wedding.

How many weddings have you filmed?
We have been filming weddings since 2007, and have filmed hundreds during that time.
What areas do you cover?
Most of our weddings are in Cheshire, the Wirral, Liverpool and around the North West and North Wales. We actually film a lot of weddings in the Colne and Burnley areas. However, we also film and photograph weddings further afield, including throughout the UK and abroad. Additional costs apply for weddings that incur significant travel costs and/or overnight stays.
What are your qualifications?
Stu’s a qualified Master Member of the Institute of Videography. This means that my work has been independently assessed and deemed to be of a high professional standard.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we are full insured. Indemnity and Public Liability, as well as specialist drone insurance.
What deposit is required to reserve the date?
20% non refundable.
When is the remaining payment due?
2 weeks prior to the wedding date.
Do we need to cater for your cameramen on the wedding day?
Generally, not. Occasionally clients will arrange food for us, and it is very much appreciated, but it isn’t necessary.
An exception to this is when we need to film during the wedding breakfast (not just speeches at the beginning or end). E.g. if you have a wedding singer and you want their set recorded, or if speeches are interspersed between courses.
How long does it take to edit a wedding video?
Typically between one and four months, depending on the time of year. We edit our Same Day Edit films on the day of course.
Can we choose our own music?
Yes. We recommend picking 5 or 6 tracks from which we can select the ones which go best with the footage.
Stuart’s wife is a wedding photographer, does this mean he would prefer not to work with other photographers?
It’s not a problem, Stuart has worked with dozens of different photographers over the years. On the other hand, we can offer some special deals for people wanting video + photography as a combined package.
Were you called TapeMe?
Yes, we changed the name of the business for a couple of reasons. Firstly, our Photography business is called SandS Photo, so it makes sense to use the same name as many of our clients choose to have both photography and video. Secondly, we haven’t actually used tapes for about 7 years, so it seemed a bit of an old fashioned name.
