An Epic Farm Marquee Wedding Video in Cheshire – Emma & Dan

I Love Farmer’s Weddings ❤️

I film quite a lot of farmer’s weddings, mainly in Cheshire and North Wales, and I’ve always loved them. They’re typically big affaires, with traditional church ceremonies followed by a huge celebration in a marquee on one of their fields. Typically there’ll be anything up to about 400 guests which makes for a great party. Emma and Dan’s wedding was no exception, in fact It was a prime example. Even Robbie Williams made an appearance!

Bride Prep on the Farm

Emma and the girls got ready for the big day at her parent’s farm in Cheshire. One of her bridesmaids, Becki, was a previous bride we’d filmed a couple of years before. Emma was relaxed but excited at the same time, I could already tell it was going to be a great day. Bridal Hair By Cleo and Perfection by Victoria provided all the finishing touches.

The Church

The marriage ceremony took place at the picturesque Saint Oswald’s Church in Brereton Green in Cheshire. The church was packed so I did most of my filming from the back of the aisle. This isn’t a problem at all as I can use a telephoto lens and have microphones positioned at the from of the church.

By the way, incase you’re wondering, Emma’s amazing Justin Alexander wedding dress was from 7th Heaven Bridal in Congleton.

After the Ceremony

Emma and Dan left the church through a tunnel of Pitch Forks before greeting their wedding guests and then heading off to the marquee in Dan’s pride and joy John Deere tractor.

Emma and Dan had a fantastic Marquee setup on her parent’s farm by Ago from Melody Corporation. The marquee had a separate dance floor area at one end with a dark interior for the evening party, and Ago was available throughout to help out whenever required.

Robbie Williams tribute act at Cheshire wedding

After the speeches, Robbie Williams made his appearance. Actually it was a guy called Dan Budd from Stoke, but his tribute act was awesome. Dan had been there since 10 in the morning, initially setting up, but then hiding so it would be a surprise to all the wedding guests. To be honest, if it had been the real Robbie Williams I don’t think it could have been any better. Apparently he doesn’t normally do weddings, so if you want him at yours it might take a lot of persuading, but it’s worth it to let him entertain you.

The Same Day Edit Video and Evening Party

The evening party kicked off with the presentation the Same Day Edit film that I filmed and edited on the day:

After watching the film and cutting the cake DJ Andy Murphy announced the first dance and before long the dance floor was packed. What a great wedding!
