Leasowe Castle Hotel was the stunning setting for this fantastic wedding which united families from the Cardiff, the capital of Wales, and the unofficial capitol of North Wales (Liverpool of course). I started the day in Allerton where Sarah and the girls were getting ready for the big day.
Dating back to the 16th century, Leasowe Castle is just a 20 minute drive from Liverpool city centre, so it’s a truly unique wedding venue with bags of character. The hotel enjoys idyllic views onto Liverpool Bay and beyond, so there’s a huge selection of photo oportunities.
The Keep Suite is a relatively new feature at Leasowe Castle. A large, well lit space, it has an ambience very similar to a church or chapel. This makes it a great option if you want a romantic traditional setting for your marriage ceremony, without the religious aspect (or inconvenience of splitting your wedding between two venues).
The hotel, situated next to Leasowe Golf Club and Leasowe Beach, has a stunning backdrop. As we were photographing and filming the wedding, we took the oportunity to take Sarah and Dan away from the party for a few minutes to catch some images.
Sarah and Dan chose our popular Same Day Edit wedding film package. The film, edited during and after the wedding breakfast meal, is shown on our big screen. This happens just before the first dance, so it’s a great start to the evening:
Sometime’s we’re able to create a little bonus film after the wedding. This show the couple and their evening guests watching the film. It’s really nice to see their reactions alongside the film. Here you can see Sarah and Dan with their guests at Leasowe Castle in the evening:
