Same Day Edit Film at Bartle Hall

It was a pleasure to capture Emily and Chris’s wedding at Saint Mary’s Church in Penwortham, and held their reception at the stunning Bartle Hall near Preston. Our Same Day Edit films are produced on the day of the wedding, and shown on our big HD projection screen before the first dance in the evening.

Getting Ready

I started the day with the girls, getting ready at Emily’s lovely home in Preston. We had pretty terrible weather for most of the day, but I could tell this wasn’t going to spoil anything.

Wedding Ceremony at Saint Mary’s Penwortham

Saint Mary’s is the Parish church for Penwortham, situated just across the river Ribble from Preston City Centre in Lancashire. The chancel, dating back to the 14th centre, must have seen thousands of wedding over the years. Emily and Chris had a beautiful traditional church ceremony. The photographers, Steph & Steve, also made use of the space after the ceremony to capture group photographs during some inclement weather.

Bartle Hall Wedding Venue in Lancashire

It’s been a couple of years since I was last at Bartle Hall. I guess that’s to be expected, living on the Wirral, but I actually film quite a lot of weddings in Lancashire. Bartle Hall is a lovely venue, set in the Lancashire countryside within sixteen acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and woodlands. The family run country house hotel makes a perfect venue for a dream wedding. Hopefully I’ll be back there again soon. Emily and Chris’s wedding breakfast was held in the elegant Windsor Suite, moving to the Balmoral Suite for the evening celebrations.
