Wedding Photography and Video
We provided both wedding photography and videography for Andrea and Mike’s big day at Lancashire Manor near Wigan. Sarah was the photographer with myself (Stuart) as videographer. I’ve included some of Sarah’s stills here in the blog post. The video package was our Full Length Film, which includes a longer film including the full ceremony, speeches and first dance, as well as a shorter Highlights piece which you can view here:
Bridal Party Preparations
Andrea and the girls got ready for the wedding day ahead at her parent’s place in Rainhill near Liverpool. Michael Perks was doing the make-up. We love working with Michael, you always know it’s going to be a great atmosphere as he’s a real character. Not to mention that all the make-up is going to be ‘on-fleek’!
Liverpool Church Ceremony
Andrea arrived at Saint Ann’s Church in Rainhill in style. The car was a beautiful 1930s style open-top Beauford. After a lovely traditional church ceremony, we all headed out into the sunshine for confetti. Then Andrea and Mike had a romantic drive to the reception venue, Lancashire Manor.
Best Western Lancashire Manor Wedding Videography
Lancashire Manor is not exactly on our doorstep, but it’s a wedding venue we keep coming back to, and I feel very at-home there. The journey to the hotel is a little strange, as it involves going through a rather ugly industrial estate. Don’t let that put you off though, because once you’re there, you really wouldn’t know. You can see from the drone picture below, the venue is surrounded by trees and has lovely, well tended gardens. The Great Hall is one of the most spectacular rooms for a wedding ceremony and reception that I’ve come across.
Evening Reception and First Dance
Andrea and Mike held their reception and evening party in the Great Hall. This is my favourite pat of the hotel, it really differentiates it from other venues. The ceiling is very high (almost like a church) so there’s an amazing feeling of space.
